Ali Wolf is a freelance reporter for NY1, News 12 The Bronx and News 12 Brooklyn. At both stations, she is responsible for researching, shooting, writing and editing her own pieces. The highlight of her career so far has been reporting during Superstorm Sandy and in it’s aftermath. Her work on various struggles people went through in the wake of the storm has taken her to all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Bergen County, New Jersey. She also has experience covering everything from live, breaking news, to human interest stories and sports. Prior to working in New York, Ali was a newscast producer for the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas and a news writer for KUSI in Sand Diego. Her work as a sports reporter and anchor in San Diego earned her a student Emmy Award in 2011. Ali graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2010 with a degree in Media Studies. During college, she interned at KRON4 in San Francisco, CNN in Atlanta and NBC in San Diego. Born in Long Island New York, Ali is thrilled to be living and working as a journalist in the big apple!
